They both deal with becoming rising stars in the Japanese entertainment industry and also finding out the inner workings of it, both the good and the bad. They also both have similar ways of tackling comedy, using expressive artwork to do so. And they also find the perfect balance of using more darker themes in their narrative whist still keeping it uplifting, wholesome and funny throughout.
