Two short manga that address a common theme: the image of transsexuality in previous centuries. The two periods are different, although both are ancient: in Hatshepsut, it is ancient Egypt, and in Claudine, France at the beginning of the twenty-first century.
The two main characters are two transgender men coming from an healthy family and who are particularly popular with women. They live in a historical context that's oppsed at their true identity.
One can note however a difference between the two characters: while Hatshepsut admits her "part of femininity", Claudine fights for his principles.
