Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint

Both are set in a world with fantastic creatures, with a system of level up and different abilities. Similar art (both good) and a likeable main character, with promising side characters. Both also show several times there is no limit to anybody's power, making the level up journey even more enjoyable. If solo leveling is a 10, i'd say Omniscient Reader is a solid 8 or 8.5
It is somewhat similar to solo leveling but at the same time quite different.

Both are power fantasies that take place in the real world, which has been fused with rpg game type attributes. The main characters both have abilities that put them 'above the system', allowing for some cool shit to happen.

∘ Made by the same studio, so you know art will be at its peak.
∘ Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy - with an additional tag - Post Apocalyptic.
∘ The protagonist of both are really smart. Omniscient Reader's protagonist uses his wits in every, well, scenario.
∘ If you like Solo Leveling, this is a must read.
∘ The storyline of Omniscient Reader is a literal roller-coaster -- of emotions and of genres.
∘ The world of Omniscient Reader is massive -- like huuuuuuge.
∘ As of writing of this recommendation, the manhwa/webtoon is nowhere close to the absolute size of the novel which consists of 551 chapters and the massive

Both tackle a similar situation in regards to mysterious power and situations as we follow both protagonists as they explore their newfound powers, worlds, and get to see different characters and adventures they partake on. Both with the same style of exploration and cast building, exploration, and depth.

-both have spectacular art
-both take place on earth (plus monsters)
-both are power fantasies with a stat window, but OR's plot is several magnitudes more interesting and down-to-earth than SL's
The two stories are set in a similar world, there are lots of great fight/action scenes. I prefer Omniscient reader because of the depth of characters (just my personal opinion), but Solo leveling has an interesting cast as well. The art style is amazing of both manhwas.

Both have similar premises with 1) isekai video game / stat-raising mechanics, 2) protagonist that eventually becomes OP by their own intelligence, and 3) colorful cast of characters with their own "superpowers."
However, ORV is overall stronger in terms of story and surprises - you actually have to be paying attention and actively questioning the status quo of the world. Quests have objectives that spice up the narrative. SL has better momentum because it's constantly hyping up the protagonist more and more, with the art and action sequences to back it up. Doesn't require much thinking on the part of the reader, which isn't necessarily

They both feature a leveling up/growing concept, with amazing fights and art, however, unlike the easy to digest and constant hype building of SL, ORV dives in deep into 4th wall breaking concepts and has very unique ideas. The plot far surpasses that of Solo Leveling and there are plot twists around every corner.
- amazing artwork
- fantasy & action
- great world-building
