Both are a caothic type shonen and Dandadan is written by a Fujimoto ex-assistant
Both series offer unique experiences within the supernatural genre, with Chainsaw Man providing a darker, more intense narrative and Dandadan delivering a lighter, more comedic take on the paranormal. Fans of each series may appreciate the contrasting approaches to storytelling and thematic exploration.

it's got the weird creature design, the fight scenes where everything is flying and everyone's screaming and a story full of kindness and with very touching moments
>authors are connected
>they recommend each other
>both of them has nice comedic timings
>cool art
>good action, and bizzare scenes i suppose
>chainsaw chainsaw chainsaw chainsaw chainsaw
>chainsawman is more serious tho

Both have some of the most utterly absurd panels I have seen in manga
Built different, insane, immersive and so, so fun

while dandadan has its own merit as a separate story, you can clearly see where the author took inspiration from his time as fujimoto's assistant

They handle a similar humor, and the role of each protagonist is also similar, the drawing style is similar to a certain extent, only that in Dandadan the panels are cleaner than in chainsaw man, It's really entertaining, just like with chainsaw man you're going to have a good time while you're reading it.
Over the top crazy story characters and relationships are written in a similar style.
its similar cause they both peak

The author of Dandadan was a assistent to Fujimoto, the author of Chainsaw man, and it shows. Both are makes one questing if they were high or something, when making their story. I would describe them as "WTF!?".
But they have a heartfelt story mist the craziness they display. They have teenagers that actually feel like teenagers and like real people. They are crazy, yet have realistic characters.
Monobola protagonists '-'
There is no way it can be bad
Very nice art and psychedelic fights, easy to like characters, and a rather bizarre manga
Similar humor and atmosphere, both spirited/supernatural with unusual presentation for it

- similiar humor
- pleasing art style
- absurdity
- authors know eachother
- fun story w nice battle scenes
csm is more serious though
Dandadan is quite popular, but there are still people who haven't read it and should give it a try. The author worked together with tatsuki fujimoto on chainsaw man, which helped him create a story as good as chainsaw man. Without plagiarizing anything from csm, it is a very funny and interesting story, but above all very crazy and unpredictable, full of action and charismatic characters. That's why I think that if you liked chainsaw man you should go read dandadan, with similar ideas but treated in very different ways, besides having an amazing drawing.
