These romance stories are about guys who are otakos and are unaccustomed to relating to girls since they are shy. Both are based on true life stories and in both the guy seeks advice on what to say to a girl. Also the way the reader sees it is really similar like you are looking at the guys screen or seeing what he is going through. They are both seinens about shy otoko guys falling in love. If you've never read Densha Otoko - do it! It's a good romance and you won't be sorry.
