Uber badass underworld legend put his shady life behind to become a family man. Hilarity ensues.
While those sentences explain the premise of these two manga quite well, there is one small difference: Sakamoto is mostly action with a bit of slice of life, while Househusband is mostly slice of life with a bit of action.

Slice of life comedies about a man who used to be a killer, but married and settled down and now lives the life of an ordinary human being. OF course, his past always comes back to haunt him but he has no intention of returning to his past life.
Gangsters! Hitmen! Chores! Gokushufudou (The Way of the House Husband) and Sakamoto Days are incredibly similar in the face that they feature men who've left their old lives of crime behind for people they love, only to have the past bubble up from time to time. Incredible artwork is contained within both Action/SoL/Comedy stories that will bring to life the shenanigan's that Tatsu and Taro get into!

Main character are a gangster after they are attracted in house chores and woman's work. They have a wonderful wife and they are popular in their neighborhood
Both of these series follow men who made their money on murder now living pretty ordinary lives. They have pretty like senses of humor. The big difference is that Gokushufudou is a bit on the silly side, not taking itself very seriously; while Sakamoto Days is still very humorous, it has a lot more serious moments and imagery. Sakamoto Days is also not "episodic" like Gokushufudou is.

Both stories about former killers who have settled into a peaceful regular life. Both show the main character encountering pieces of their past here and there, but they refuse to go back.
Both have similar comedy, some action, and are generally enjoyable and lighthearted.
