While the plots of these two manga are not exactly similar, they were booth created by Osamu Tezuka during the 40's, so they have many similar elements. They are both childish adventure manga, which do not take themselves seriously, and just try to provide some goofy entertainment. The art style in both manga is simple and it was inspired from Walt Disney's art. They also have a similar vibe. Overall, both pieces represent pretty well the golden age of manga, so it's interesting to see how the medium has evolved from the time these works were made.
