The basic set up and characters are very similar to one another. Both main characters are always smiling, always trying to help those around them, they both have a "never-give up" attitude, they're a bit naive, and genuinely positive about their situations even though they have experienced sadness and loss.
The plot lines involve budding (slow) romances, heartwarming scenes, the ever popular love triangle, and so much more! I would say that my only complaint would be that Himegimi was cut short and so the ending isn't up to par but everything up to that point is wonderful. They are both heartwarming mangas so if you
