Slow pace, slow romance, cuteness overload and a protagonist that is always smiling~~~ also both give you a slice of life feeling.
Although the stories are different, both have the same feel to it - slow-paced, calm but touching, seemingly happy-go-lucky, with a sad undertone. Both main characters are very kind girls who give support and happiness to those around them, in a way by just being around and smiling, spreading their love. At the same time, because some of the characters (in love so life it's the protagonist) have a 'dark' (unhappy) past, which is woven in by flashbacks, a seriousness is added to the story that makes it all the more touching.
If you're looking for a slow paced story, then Shiawase Kissa 3-choume and Love So Love will definitely be something you're looking for. Both series has a lighthearted tone with a slice of life atmosphere involving a colorful cast of characters. The main female protagonist is kind, caring, and dedicated to help others in need. The relationship she develops with others in both series is also touching with bits of realism, drama, and charming moments all at once. Recommended for any fan of a slice of life-shoujo.
