Typical long running shonen jump story structure, great power systems, fights and characters in both.
Early on too with Goku’s Saiyan instinct feels a bit like the ‘Demon trapped in the main character’ trope but it gets kinda dropped later on.

Just like Dragon Ball, the fights in Naruto are genuinely phenomenal. The hand to hand combat as well as how both Toriyama and Kishimoto manage to move the fights from panel to pane is super enjoyable. It's all seamless and the actual fight choreography still holds up.
