Stories that represent platonic relationships or highly imply being a GL.
The friendship in these series appeared to me to have a similar development (very little) and the use of watery themes as a way to relate the main protagonists (aquarium in one, swimming pool in the other) is prevalent within them.
Summarizing, both stories, are very similar, in both, themes and that feeling of "I don't know what is really how the protagonists feel about each other". So if you enjoyed one, is very probable that you will enjoy the other.

Both series are "girls love" without any actual real romance, but cute moments here and there. They are both sea-themed with lots of sea-creatures in the panels with the characters. Both artists take a similar approach at this and although I find that Nettaigyo has better written characters, both series have a really pleasant artstyle and I like Yoru to Umi's artstyle a slight bit better.
The underwater atmosphere in both series it what makes them so enjoyable imo and although I don't think it's actually girls love, they're still worth a read
