Think only in terms of romance:
Cardcaptor Sakura is a child-like plot that inspires you to believe in yourself.
Kiss/Hug is a mature version that inspires you to grow apart to stand together.
While reading Kiss/Hug, it made me think that if Sakura & Syaoran were older & in a more mature story, I'd hope for it to become like this. It'd be a great fanfic plot if you reverse the characters.
