I was really surprised by the similarities between these two. Both have a family that is shut in, only marries in the family, and has a powerful head. There is the whole supernatural/curse thing going on. Also there is an outsider girl who comes into the family and starts changing things.

In both mangas, a cheerful girl enters an old family with mysterious powers and is able to save the hearts of some of its most troubled members. There is also a childhood connection revealed later on in both stories.
Cursed family? Check. Totally hot bishonen needing redemption in the form of kind, up-beat heroine? Yup. Although Furuba and Pla-G sound like they have the same storylines, and they both give you a nice, fuzzy feeling, they are both beautifully unique. I know FB may be the bigger seller, but PG's heroine is much more likeable ~ maybe because she has a personality? XD
