In each show the main cast is forced to suddenly forced into a situation where they have to work together as a team to accomplish one goal. All the characters are quite different from one another in both Kiznaiver and AnoHana. Their friendships gradually develop along with their differences. The art style is also very similar in each show. The main difference is the plot and the end goal. If you enjoyed the unique characters in either series or liked the way the story unfolded I would recommend the other.

The characters and their personality of both series are quite similar design.
A group of very different teenagers connecting/reconnecting with each other for a single shared purpose.
Lots of drama arising out of interpersonal relationship issues and lots of uncomfortable history, both shared and individual.
AnoHana is more slice of life though, whereas Kiznaiver is definitely more fantastical. Luckily, the fantasy aspect doesn't actually hinder the realism of the human drama that much.
- The two shows have almost the exact same character types for the main cast.
- Deep dives into friendship and how it works.
- Love polygons that lead to a big dramatic group fight.
- A supernatural twist, though it's more prominent in Kiznaiver than AnoHana.

Same:
-a group of teens forced to work together and get uncomfortably personal with each other
Difference:
The overall purpose
-Kiznaiver: the plot's purpose of bringing them together seems for the "greater good of the world"
-Anohana: for the characters' sake, for the growth of the characters and their relationships with one another

Friendships, drama, love triangles and pain. Both of these stories follow such paths where a group of people worked together to solve their own faults and problems. If you liked the dynamics of one you'll be sure to like the other.
These two shows are about a group of teenagers suddenly being forced into a situation where they have to connect and become closer to each other.
There are a few characters with similar personalities or in similar situations. Many of the characters also undergo character development, and their relationships with each other improve.
They have sort of similar art style and great music.
Both are sad, mainly AnoHana, and the drama genre really plays in for both of them. There are also some truths to be discovered. Positive emotions such as love also have to do with these two anime.
Definitely recommended.
- The main characters of the two anime have somewhat similar personalities: Jinta and Katsuhira, Anjou and Chidori, Tenga and Hisakawa, Meiko and Niko, Honoka and Tsurumi, Yuta and Matsuyuki.
- Both animes address the '' shared pain '' between a group of young people,in Ano Hana because of Meiko's death,in Kiznaiver because of the Kizuna Project.

When watching them, I definitely felt the same atmosphere. The characters are are a group of friends in both cases, after all. And the "melodrama" going on is pretty similar.
Both involve a group of people (friends and strangers) coming together by chance and try and work towards something, getting to know and understand each other better in the process. Both have elements of romance and what-not. Love triangles and all.
Both look hella nice too.
its just 2 sad shows that ll maakr u sad

Dealing heavily with the bond and friendship among teenagers as they handle angst, grudges, and conflict with one another. The differences are their ambiance, setting, and concepts used; and although one is highly sorrowful than the other, for me, both can give the same emotions of grief, as well as sadness, nonetheless.
