Sora no Method is basically the same as AnoHana, except SnM being a bit more childish and not having any romance in it, the plot and character setup is pretty much the same though.

A group of childhood friends who for some reason or another has gone their separate ways only to be reunited again thanks to a blissful girl coming back to the central characters life again due to some sort of supernatural phenomenon. Feels and drama ensures.

Both anime have to deal with reuniting with old friends, and reigniting relationships and friendships. Both have a "fantasy/surreal" aspect to them; celestial beings that seem exactly the same as humans. Both shows are very similar in taste, with an enjoyable slice-of-life aura, and if you liked one, the chances of you also enjoying the other are very high.

Noel and Enma are pretty much THE SAME character. Both of them appear as a child in the first episode already but is supposedly the same age as the MC (who is in their teens). The story is about a former group of friends in both animes and "trying" to find their way back to eachother. Both also have this dramatic feeling in it. Do I need to type more?

There are a group of kids who were friends when they were younger, but aren't anymore. Noel and Menma have the same personality and are there to grant wishes. There is a lot of drama with some romance.

Sora no Method and Anohana have almost exactly the same atmosphere and feelings. Some characters from Sora no Method have the same personality with the characters from Anohana (Noel from Sora no Method has nearly similar personality to Menma's). There were also many sad and heartbreaking scenes. The music on this two series are very good and great to listen to, especially the OP. The animation and art was excellent. This two series are really good and both are worth to watch.
