Both are about a genius MC who loves playing games and gets involved in a story where he can play even more games. Both stories involve playing various games for serious causes. Both are entertaining and colorful.

First: Both take place in a world where you challlenge God or play against him. The main characters are similar in many ways and both series contain the hardcore puzzles that keep us interested in the game, trying to figure out a way of an impossible maze.
Second: I recommend it because both have this comedy despite the seriousness of the situation.
Third: Without spoiling it, they have almost the same plot and events twisting ahead by moving foward in the season. With that, the choice is yours.
Nearly the same plot :
Where No Game No Life is based on playing games, Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle is based on solving puzzles.
Exactly the same type of main character:
Both the main male characters are as clever as no one else and can face to every situation.
To sum up, I'll add that they are both very enjoyable, even if Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle is full of clichés.
