A world in which superheroes are our daily routine and the idea of them has somewhat been "commercialized": this is the first thing that triggers Tiger & Bunny in your memory while watching Boku no Hero Academia. No worries, they are definitely NOT the same thing but still share some mentionable points in common that might lead you to decide to watch them: - The thrilling and captivating concept of super powers will always create heroes and villains but it's always interesting to see how this will be played out, what ideas will be poured into it and what circumstances and consequences will come from it;   read more

Both are shows about a group of superheroes and them fighting crime and living in a world that now accepts and endorses superheroes. Both have serious villains and even both main characters have similar generic superpowers. The main difference is TAB focuses on a group of adults and is more episodic (and character driven) while BNHA focuses on children who are growing and learning and follows a more clear sequence of episode which flow into the other. IMO, TAB has a better story arc overall (and much better climax), is deeper as a story, and better themes while BNHA is more of an underdog story and   read more

Both are amazing super hero type of anime. They both have such a huge diversity of charactors and personality. They both have such awesome storys. They both have similar completly different super powers used to fight evil with some similarities with my hero academia the main charactor has the qwerk to smash anything but at great cost where the tiger and bunny main charactors ability/qwerk gives them super speed and super strength but for only around 2 minuites. Both are a must see if you love super hero anime.

Both of these are awesome superhero animes and they could even be from the same universe. In Tiger & Bunny the superhero business is starting out with NEXT powers still being somewhat a rarity when in Boku no Hero Academia superhero business is well established and quirks are more common than not having one. Second season of Boku no Hero Academia touches on very same subjects as Tiger & Bunny and I believe that watching these two animes together is a good food for thought. And if you like action these are just must watch.

Both anime feature a society in which superhumans are quite common. However, Hero Academia has most people in the world have superpowers, whereas Tiger & Bunny only has some individuals have superpowers. Both anime seem to draw heavy inspiration from western superhero comics by the likes of Marvel and DC, with some very American-looking designs for some characters. Hero Academia focuses on a boy trying to become a superhero, but Tiger & Bunny goes down a different route, with its protagonist being a middle-aged superhero and has a major focus on commercialization of superheroes. If you like the idea of an anime about superhumans in society, both are   read more

Both are superhero anime series. In both series people develop super-human abilities, in Boku no Hero Academia they' re called Quirks and in Tiger and Bunny NEXT. Both series have amazing visual, great plot and an even greater soundtrack. P.S Tiger & Bunny was voted Best anime of all time in a japanese poll held in 2017

Well both are about heroes fighting evil people. In one world somehow a few percent or "chosen ones" have super powers, in the other only a few percent has none. While boku no hero academia deals with how to become a hero - going to a hero school/university, and Tiger & Bunny dealing with "the hero" as a job being advertised in a tv show. Both are very interesting and are worth a shot if you wanna know how anime heroes compare to Marvel heroes :D

It's a western comic-book superhero thing. They are encouraged to market themselves to succeed in the superhero career. T&B shows what the business world would do with superheroes, and what life would be like for them. With good animation and a thrilling plot, it will probably scratch that itch you have from BnHA being over so fast.

Both take place in a world where super powers are commonplace. While Boku no Hero Academia follows young superheros in a more coming-of-age story, Tiger & Bunny follows more mature and seasoned superheros and their more struggles as working adults. The two main protagonists, Deku and Kotetsu were both inspired as young children by big, blond, American heros (All Might and Mr. Legend respectively), who were/are heralded as the best of their time. Additionally, both protagonists are highly energetic and naive, following their own heroic code instead of seeking popularity.

Both have superheroes with various powers. While in My Hero it's mainly focused on the kids, Tiger and Bunny is centered around adults and their struggles being a hero.

Both shows involve licensed super heroes and questioning the ideals of justice. While Hero Academia focuses on your growing into the heroes.they dream of being, Tiger and Bunny focuses on established heroes who's get paid depending on their performance and popularity with the public.

If you enjoyed My Hero Academia and any of it's seasons, I think you would enjoy Tiger & Bunny. They both are super hero related animes with humans randomly gaining powers. Also Tiger & Bunny as of (2022) is getting a season 2 after waiting so long.

imagine BNHA kids as adults... you get Tiger & Bunny.

Lets organize these heros! • BOTH have superheros working for a hero organization to fight the evil in their respective world. • BOTH have stories centered on a group of super-powered people without any concept of gaming or reincarnation

They are both Japanese adaptations of the superhero genre that are influenced by American comic books.
