Both feature super heroes in modern day society. The relationships of the two main characters feel fairly similar, too. While Tiger & Bunny features actual superpowers, Samurai Flamenco focuses on the aspect of good deeds and growing up.
Both series play on the theme of superheroes. In fact, T&G and Samurai Flamenco both introduce characters that try to protect the world and save the innocent.
Tiger & Bunny does utilize actual super powers though, while Samurai Flamenco plays on the role in a helping the helpless fashion. The main male protagonists from both series are determined to protect others in their city filled with corruption, villains, and injustice.
Realistic take on superheroes
-in the future- Tiger & Bunny
-in contemporary times- Samurai Flamenco
Both anime are about super heroes. While watching Samurai Flamenco I got the same feeling as I did while watching Tiger & Bunny. Although, the main characters in Tiger & Bunny have actual super powers, the main characters in Samurai Flamenco have the morale of super heroes.
Both are about heroes. The difference is that Tiger & Bunny superheroes have powers, whereas the one in Samurai Flamenco doesn't... sort of. You'll see what I mean. Samurai Flamenco definitely has a lot more weird twists, but centers around the same thematic what-it-means-to-be-a-hero issues that Tiger touches on in Tiger & Bunny.
Shows with superheroes that are famous and there's a protagonist duo formed by a rational guy and a idealistic guy.
