Both characters are seen as delinquent and a nuisance - somebody that is better off dead. They are different from everyone else so their behaviors tend to be more aggressive as they are deeply hurt inside. One day they change schools and everyone treats him differently from where they are usually from. Both main characters develops unexpecting friendships who accepts them the way they are. They also climb to become the best in the world they are in.
