Both include Demons coming to Earth.
Great combination of action and comedy which is executed extremely well.
Both have badass MC and a comedic partner.
In both series, there is a lighthearted tone. More importantly though, they involve a main character who is a demon known for having powers but seems to be sealed away.
The main male protagonist's life also seems to strange forever after a certain event and they are forced to adapt to their new lifestyle. They also seem to have a rocky relationship with the main female character.
Both series involves some action and there is a theme of 'conquering the world'.
Both series also features another female character who seems to be interested in the main male protagonist.
Both light comedies that deal with demons, where the main character is forced to adapt to a completely different lifestyle. In Hataraku, it's switching to a completely different universe or should I say time period. In Beelzebub, Oga must live with Baby Beel, and adapt a new life with him.
Both anime also involve the aspect of "taking over the worlds/humans."
Both are about a demon that came to the human world. They are both comedic and funny. They both also have action and interesting fights.
Both anime deal with demons that try to integrate in a modern japanese society. Solid comedy in both anime also, but they have their serious moments also.
Involves good comedy and epic fights. Both protagonists are demons.

Hataraku Maou-sama is about 'Devil king Sadao' and how he adapts to living on Earth with little money. Beelzebub is similar because it handles demons in the same, humorous way and also shows the struggles of demons who have come to Earth. They are also both very funny.

Both have little things in common, like really good comedy timings, with hint of romantics. I just love the idea about having to know about a world of fantasy that does not exist through the eyes we perceive , and both Beelzebub and Hataraku Maou-sama! succeed on catering to these fantasies. The ideas conveyed are likely very original and entertaining, and that is why both have a really high spot on my list. Concluding it, I might say that the romantics in both the series aren't overly exaggerated, and in my opinion that is how I like it (without cliched harem and ecchi plots).
