Although these two shows have many differences, the main characters and their character development make them similar. Yato and Keita have both flaws and initially are not taken seriously and not treated with respect by their peers, but they both have an interesting background and redeeming qualities that make them likeable, and those at the end also earn the trust and respect of others.
