Doesnt exactly have any similarities but I find both their plot amazing and unique for their own reasons,plus both have comedy even with all the gore going around.
Gore, mystery, insanity, drama, and... comedy.
With unapologetic violence, unique and unforgettable characters, and time-skipping, non-linear storylines, they must be watched at least twice, so you can catch all the details!

There are very mysterious, eerie, and supernatural aspects at work in each anime. The legend of the rail tracer is much like oyashiro. The story is very well told in both anime too, but the styles are very different from each other. There's also a lot of gory bloodshed in the process.

Both start at "the end". So there is a mysteri to be solved. And you find out more and more.... They are both great anime!

It's only similar in this way that everyone's insane. Baccano is so good. 16 episodes of stories all together with great characters and lots of blood. The anime is so well done with the art, the music, and the story that you can't stop watching and the anime will have you hooked.
