The main cast from both series are among the most amazing I have ever seen and also share many similarities. The way Yamada and Shiraishi interact with each other reminds me of Okabe and Kurisu. Besides that, Yamada and Okabe are loyal guys despite being surrounded by a bunch of beauties.
Both series also deal with memory loss, but Steins;Gate is better executed with hardly no plot holes. You will get confused a lot while watching Yamada-kun and seven witches, since the anime left out many important details from the manga.
