this might be kinda weird. but both show are centered around the main cast doing random stuffs with occasional structured arcs. if you like the format of either you should definitely check out the other. i'd describe frieren as adventurous slice of life exploring human connections and emotions and gintama as comedy/parody slide of life with occasional battle shonen elements.
