Similar comedy style. Gintoki and Ronald are similar too, both have their own agency and a freeloader/coworker moves in with them.
Both are funny and have dirty jokes.
I was Watching Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu when it was airing back at fall 2021 and made every week exciting. I just loved dirty jokes haha.
And if you want to learn more about Japanese jokes and etc.. it's better to watch this both. You won't regret it.
I think that Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu is similar in humor to Gintama, though I will say that Gintama relies a lot more on references. Kyuuketsuki really does remind me of early Gintama.
The characters relationships in Kyuuketsuki remind me of Gintama. The supporting characters show up often enough to make their situations comedic without being annoying in both shows. The characters bounce off each other well in each show. Some of the characters in Kyuuketsuki parallel the characters in Gintama. You could say Ronald is to Gintoki, Draluc is to Shinpatchi, John is to Sadaharu. You could argue that Hinaichi is to Kagura, though personally I

Both shows are just to similar at comedy, where we see the daily life of this characters, also both of the shows have a highly praised pet
Comedy is very similar to Gintama and has a freaking AGE OF EMPIRES REFERENCE!! how pleasant is that !? basically, this is what happen when you mix tokyo ghoul with gintama
it also has character relationships like in Gintama of assistant/friend (shinpachi) and guy who does odd jobs just like gintoki :) and also a super cute armadillo (mascot like sadaharu) called john and a agency like shinsengumi with characters like shinsengumi gang too
though gintama having longer run time makes it's jokes more funny,long running and characters are more relatable in gintama but this one does its best with what it has.
