Similarities;Both has over-the-top humour(with a side of overly detailed reaction faces), funny trio with their own quirky personalities, and just enough sexual innuendos to make you laugh like an idiot!
Differences; Gintama is more action shonen oriented, with some serious dramatic moments in a sci-fi setting, while Asobi is more lighthearted and takes place in high school.

Obviously the characters aren't, but the humour is the closest thing I've seen to Gintama, to the point some of the gags could easily fit in both universe.
