Mahoujin Guruguru (2017)

Both are goofy comedies/parodies with a wide pool of bizarre side characters, sometimes parodying:
other anime (more typical to Gintama),
RPG tropes (entire GuruGuru, but some allusions appear in Gintama too from time to time)
but they both mostly build their own jokes that the shows work with throughout their runs.
Comedy in both is quite random in both, but more dirty in Gintama.
Gintama gives more time to each arc, while Mahoujin Guruguru's pacing is extremely fast (which luckily works rather well, even though it is apparent even to me, who didn't read the manga, that way too much content is packed into these 24 episodes).

Similar tone of comedy. Both are parodies.
Each has a cute female protagonist, a male protagonist with dumb expression and a serious male.
If you like the RPG and Dragon Quest-related gag arcs in Gintama, then Guruguru is for you.
It's basically a whole show with similar absurd, dirty and boke/tsukkomi humour that is built on being a parody of high fantasy JRPG tropes.
But beyond that, both anime are also incredibly heartwarming with a central message about friendship, found families and adventure.
