These two series have more similar in atmosphere than in plot points. The easiest way to see this is to listen to their OST (take, for example, 'Blessing' from Kaminai and the OP of Dantalian). Both series are set in a serene, mystical fantasy world that is intriguing, and you'd wish they'd dedicated more episodes to fleshing out. Dantalian is set in the Victorian era with fantasy elements, whilst Kaminai is set in an alternate universe.
