- main character is also creating a character, who is also getting real
- main character fights against the "evil" creatures, because they wan't to destroy the real world (the world of their creators)
Both deal with the "appeareance of creatures from parallel worlds" in Tokyo.
In both some of this "creatures" have links to the people in the real world, in Re:Creators the creators of the stories are linked to their creations while in Digimon Tamers there are kids with the capability of connecting with a Digimon becoming "tamers".
Takato from Digimon Tamers creates its Digimon, just like the creators make their creations in Re:Creators.
Both have battles developing in the real world.
In both it is not enough having a link with a creature in order to enhance them, there is something more needed.
In both the goverment is aware of this
