A non-human girl who is unfamiliar with the human world tries to achieve a large antagonistic goal, but finds herself foiled again and again, relying on the support of a friendly group of regular characters. Many comedy hijinks ensue, often character-based. These shows have a very similar feel. Ika Musume is more episodic and inventive, while Jahy-sama has more of a constant thread, with Jahy trying to achieve her aim every episode (when she's not distracted).
Both shows feature a "very powerful & merciless" child-like main character trying to take over the human realm, though they always fail in their antics in one way or another and along the way being to realize that the human world actually isn't all that bad.
Both shows feature a "powerful" demihuman down on their luck and mingling with society

Both anime features a main character who is:

>Have an ambitious goal with no plan on how to achieve it.
>Slowly warms up to human and start creating a friendship with humans.
Both anime also kinda focus on "bullying" the main character and showing their misfortunes.
