1. The main character, Kazuma, is similar like Kyon. He narrated his life with some humorous in a serious moment.
2. Kazuma and Kyon have a similar situation where both of them were surrounding with odd partners.

Both shows involve characters who fit into archetypal roles in order to poke fun of the tropes associated with them while at the same time embracing them. The main character in both shows serves a cynical outlook with aspects of self-awareness given the scenarios they are placed into. Both shows trake pride in the mundane at times despite the fantasy (for Konosuba) or supernatural (for Haruhi) spin. Superficially, both feature a female goddess who constantly bickers with the MC.

Both are cynical, tongue-in-cheek parodies of popular anime genres and tropes. Both contain an unsuspecting, somewhat perverted male protagonist dragged by an annoyingly charismatic female character into an adventure he'd rather not be a part of. Both have plenty of funny, entertaining, and (intentionally) obnoxious characters.

It's common knowledge that KonoSuba is an affectionate parody of the isekai genre, but did you know that Haruhi Suzumiya is a parody of the slice-of-life/school club genre? Aside from their status as a parody series that stands on its own in its respective genre, Haruhi Suzumiya and KonoSuba both contain an exasperated protagonist, an obnoxious, useless goddess, and a supporting cast of oddball misfits.
