The two really remind me of one another. The characters and their dynamics are a notch different with a different premise, but the style of entertainment with the humor and interesting character reactions provide the same sort of effect for me. Not to say that their quality is on par (I'll just let the individual decide that), only that how they provided entertainment to me (comedy, character drama, and such) were on very similar wavelengths.
Both anime have a club about supernatural. Also both anime have a quiet and bookworm character. They do weird stuff with there club members. Thy both have a character that acts different from the others. One of them is special than all of them. Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo is comdey like Suzumuyi Haruhi no Yuuutsu. I hope you agree with me.
