Both feature half breed youkai. In both there is romance. Both have a group living in the same manor.
Mixed-blood youkai living in human society inside a protected complex.
Both shows are lighthearted comedies with a mix of slight drama.
Both heroines are not human and series are about Japanese ayakashi/demons.
Story focused on youkai entities being protected by others – human or not, while living under the same roof. They also have a non-human girl who posses some kind of power and is feared by most people.
Half breed youkai living in a mansion. Main heroes (Miketsukami and Agemaki) promise to protect main heroine. And main heroines (Ririchiyo and Zakuro) are tsundere and have dark past. Also include similar romance.

both anime story plot is about half spirit where half human half yokai and funny however the timeline of the anime is different inu x boku ss is in the modern days and otome youkai zakuro is during the Meiji Westernization.

Both Inu X Boku SS, and Otome Youkai Zakuro, have to do with a girl pairing up with a guy for protection. They are also similar in which they are set in a fantasy supernatural world. Of course they also have relationship building, character development, and romance. Both have a nice emotional plot, good humor now and then, and beautiful art.

Both shows deal with youkai and humans living together in the same place. Both central females are also similar, in being initially self-centered however as the romance progresses, they begin to open up to the male central character
