Although the plots differ quite a bit, both shows have girls who don't quite fit in with the rest of society. These girls slowly change as they become friends and develop a relationship with the male protagonists. Also, the male and female protagonists must overcome some sort of adversity together near the end of the show.
Both have the girl protagonist that seems tough on the outside but is fragile inside, and has a dark past trauma. The male protagonist serves as the protector and always stay by her side as her emotional support no matter how much the complaints can be. They fall in love eventually, in both cases.
The perplexing outsider. Gosick and Chuunibyou aren't similar with plots albeit Rikka and Victorique share similar qualities being outsiders to their dwellings met by some individual, paired to go forth and on their various ventures.
With Gosick being a mystery anime around Victorique and her time as a detective, Chuunibyou is a rom-com about delusions and how to use them in life.
