The World of Narue and Seto no Hanayome both focus on the romantic yet quirky relationships between a spineless teenage boy and his supernatural girlfriend (in Hanayome, it's the main character's wife, but you get the idea). Both female leads appear to be the ones "leading" the relationship while the leading males constantly watch their backs for any aliens or yakuza mermen tracking them down. The supernatural elements of both shows seem like afterthoughts put in to make the shows more interesting, but if you like the combination of high school romance and fantasy/supernatural action but want something a little funnier, give Seto no Hanayome
