Both are about female otaku. Both of the female otaku have social phobias. Kuragehime's protagonist is more real. But Watamote's protagonist is more along comedy. I think female anime fans will prefer Kuragehime. Male anime fans would prefer Watamote. Tsukimi from Kuragehime is no longer in high school, so she is more hikkikomori than the protagonist of Watamote. If you really like the hikkikomori female perspective, then you may prefer Kuragehime.

Both animes show the coming-of-age stories of female protagonists who consider themselves to be misfits in general society. Both shows take a humorous and grounded approach to their slice-of-life material. Watamote invokes a dark, provocative sense of comedy whereas Kuragahime is more light-hearted and innocuous.

Both shows center around painfully awkward girls and their experiences. If you enjoyed Watamote because of relating to Tomoko, you'll love Kuragehime, which is pretty much a more grown up shoujo version of Watamote.

The main character has some sort of social axiety about them that may or not be relateable depending on who watches either anime. Kuragehime / Princess Jellyfish takes it a step further with phobias of the male gender / attractive people.
