They both have a MC who does not like conflict and would rather then anything spend his days in a calm manner.
This however is usually not the case as both of them have an insane power hidden inside them which when going berserk is strong enough to whip out anything and everything they hold dear.
If you like Story's where the MC is bound by a power he can't control and the tragedy that cause him you will definitely like this.
Both have a male main character that is part "demon" and has insane power where if he goes out of control he will destroy everything including his loved ones. Both the main characters also wish for a peaceful life where they won't hurt anyone. Both have a female love interest that is also very strong and both use a sword as their main weapon.
If you are looking for another internal struggle within the part-demon main character than definitely check out Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu. Both have their funny moments, interesting and lovable characters, and interesting turn of events.
