Both series have a fantasy and folklore motif, with Kokkuki-san leaning towards traditional japanese mythology while Ookami-san leans more towards fairytales of both European and Japanese folklore.
They're both comedies similar in tone, and can be more or less mindlessly binged in a way that won't make you feel like you've wasted six hours of your life.
