Obviously the settings are quite similar, as the main characters in both are very small. The world design is always fascinating, seeing small everyday objects used as completely different things than we are used to. They both feature excellent natural visuals, plants and insects, etc. Very cozy. Arrietty has more of a continual story, given it's movie format and intent, but both are great if you feel like watching the world from this more intimate point of view.
If you like shows about Lilliputians living in a big world, "Hakumei and Mikochi" and "The Secret World of Arrietty" might be just what you are looking for.

Both Arrietty and Hakumei to mikochi follow the lives of very tiny humans. Both have a comparable atmosphere, where the tiny humans use food and objects that are huge for them and small for normal humans. Both are also comparable in the generally relaxing pace and little conflict. Both are a recomendation if you're looking for a cute anime about small people and cozyness.
