Both are subversive comedies that frequently make you go WTF as you watch.
Arakawa and Jinrui share a very similar setting, both are very sci-fi and strange filled with eccentric characters and general oddities. The main plot in each show is very random, Arakawa focuses more on gag comedy, and Jinrui is more set in a fantasy/future setting that's pretty 'out there'. If you enjoyed the bright visualizations and art style from either show, quirky characters, and/or pure fantasy/sci-fi setting I would recommend trying the other.

Both are hilarious and have really unique characters! The color scheme is quite similar and the storyline for both is pretty…unusual
both jokes more about weirdo things. And you can't really imagine when it'll show.
The difference is jinrui tells more about fantasy world where human decrease and Arakawa tells about an eccentric MC living with a bunch of weirdo around.
Arakawa is one of Shaft's anime so how they show their jokes likes the other shaft's anime.
