Toshokan Sensou

Both are science-fiction, military-related anime although Toshokan Sensou doesn't have mechas. The main male characters give the same feelings but are quite different. Toshokan Sensou deals with book protection task force while FMP is oriented at resolving world terrorism and conflict. But both are military organization that works for an ideal, justice and freedom.
Both are military stories incorporated with similar light-hearted comedy time by time.
