both show a girl with a strong sense of determination. never backing down from a challenge, and working as hard as they can. they both also have a strong and cool male love interest that falls for them because of their determination and willingness to push them selves far beyond their limits. which causes the main male to slow them down so they can rest and helps them so they don't over do it

Both have very strong female that are very deterimined to reach their goals no matter what else that life has thrown into their ways and both have some really good romance elements in it and a great wholesome feel to watch too!

Both anime have a main female character that is strong and very similar characters. Due to their strengths they have caught the attention of the main male characters of the anime (Zen and Usui).
Both the anime explore the ever changing relationship between the main female and male characters. To top it all off, both anime have a very similar sense of humour and will warm your hearts up.
Both have lot's of moe moments. Strong individual female character with her own job and duties. And a strong, noble, bit cheeky male character, leading the relationship. Yet Akagami is less misogynistic and no main tsundere, which is a plus. Definitely worth a watch.
