In both of these the female character has to hide something from everyone but only one guy knows the secret and becomes of love interest
Both female characters have secrets that their love interest find out which serves as the main plot to both. This creates romantic tension between the lovers which make it very enjoyable to seem them go through all the humorous trials and problems to get into a relationship.
Both Anime is about male MC finding out the female's MC's secret and then develop a romantic relationship together.....both show are great

While Mayo-Chiki centers around a cute girl pretending to be a boy so she can continue her career as a butler, Maid-sama! centers around a cute girl who's a hardline Student Council President hiding her part-time job at a Maid Cafe from everyone at her high school. Both these girls have their secrets discovered by a mysterious/dysfunctional male classmate, and each series revolves around the ensuing romantic relationship that blossoms between them.
