Hanayamata and Tokyo Mew Mew are two anime made with the involvement of industry veteran Reiko Yoshida, as she wrote the script for the former and actually co-created the source material for the latter. The main characters of both shows are five girls with varying personalities and hair colors, who are brought together by the show's main subject (yosakoi for former, sci-fi themed magical girls for latter). Tokyo Mew Mew has some fantasy elements, but both shows kinda have similar appeal.
