Pretty Cure 5 is the 4th season and recent newest season to the Pretty Cure Franchise,however,unlike the first 3 seasons,Pretty Cure,Pretty Cure Max Heart and Pretty Cure Splash Star,which the previouse seasons had two lead Females,Nagisa(Cure Black) and Honoka(Cure white), Yes! Pretty Cure 5 returned to the more familiar Sailor moon style(5 team members) Format,and is more similar to Tokyo mew mew than the previouse seaosns,for example,Nozomi(Cure Dream) the lead female in Yes! Pretty Cure 5 is very similar to Ichigo in Tokyo mew mew

It's actually hilarious how similar these things are. First of all, same colors for the girls (purple character comes later but whatever yk), and then they both say "Metamorphose!" to transform, and then there's Mint (Tokyo Mew Mew) and Cure Mint (Yes! Precure 5). But wait! There's more! The characters that share their colors basically share the same personality and there's two guys who run the whole thing. There's also a lot of fighting scenes.
