Both of these have similar character designs and overall atmosphere to them. They both know not to take themselves too seriously and manage to both be extremely entertaining. Basically it's Redline without cars and in SPACE.

Both have similar looking characters and use a similar style of art and atmosphere.
The main difference between Space Dandy and Redline is that Redline is focused on only Racing and Space Dandy focuses on capturing aliens or just Dandy in Space.
The 7th episode specificly reminds you of Redline as Dandy participates in a space race which really gets you the feeling of JP racing the Redline track!

Both have a very 70's chill style about them with vibrant colors and over-the-top action and comedy in a peculiar universe setting.

Both of these animations are set in space. Space Dandy is a television series, while Redline is a Movie. The main characters are both laid back people, and are both engaged in going on adventure.
Both of them have a very stylized, colorful look - eye candy to say the least. Redline in particular has an almost cell-shaded / comic book look. They are also both comedic. Space Dandy and Redline also contain a very decorated cast of characters, and are both very much character driven.
Main protagonists are very similar. in both anime are aliens and mc is living with aliens.

With the way Space Dandy is written, Redline may as well be considered canon. Main characters are very similar in personality and appearance, and both shows are set in space.
The tone of Redline also mirrors Space Dandy, with an emphasis on action and emotion over deeper concepts and logic.

Sci-fi adventure comedy, both with loveable aliens and hilarious dialogue, however Redline's animation is something that you DESPERATELY must see. The whole movie is actually on another level.

Both anime follow a guy with a pompadour hairstyle. Both are set in space with aliens and
they both have stylized, colorful animation.
Space Dandy is more comedic however.

With its similar thematic and both sporting a dandy protagonist with a pompadour who have alien friends and a particular taste in women, it would be easy for me to say that whoever watches Redline, would also enjoy Spade Dandy, baby!
