Both anime have main character that fights agains some sort of evil. Both main characters have som sort of alter ege, but while in Baoh Raihousha the main character changes into it, in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure main character summons it. Both are old school OVA with lot of violence, even gore. Both anime feature parasites that resists in human brain.
Adaptations of Hirohiko Araki works that are much more serious, dark, and violent than the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime that began in 2012. The similarities lie in the old-school art style and music, stoic protagonist, and involvement of mysterious powers and brain parasites.
