Brainrot from different angle. Shikanoko Noko is a mix of every main character from Azumanga and a deer. (Take this however you like.)
Azumanga is more subtle with its comedic timing and humor, while this is not always the case with Shikanoko Nokonoko. And because Azumanga is an older title, its animation is bit outdated. But I believe this helps Azumanga with the storytelling, so honestly, it's not a bad thing.
In the end, if you want to shut down your brain and laugh a bit, both are great choices for that.

Though Nokotan and Azumanga came from the different era (Reiwa and Heisei respectively), but both of them are high school girls comedy series with many absurd and surreal jokes
