Although the plot is different, the setting is same, i.e. school. The character designs are also somewhat similar. The biggest similarity is the comedy style; I got a Bakatest feeling from D-Frag. There are great characters, and plus, it's a fun series. If you watch one, high chances are that you will love the other.

Just another school time with idiotic people who does idiotic activities, they both have similar jokes to make you laugh hard enough.
Well, both are higschool animes, and have almost the same comedy.
In both animes, the main character is an "baka" (idiot/stupid), and has other friends with different personalities.
In my opinion, they are the best animes that I watched, but both need more episodes =(
Fast-paced and witty, both series have characters who never fail to amuse. If you're looking for a short series with cheap humor, make sure you take some time to watch both.
-Both anime tell about everyday life of high school students.
-Both anime have many hillarious comedy, and the important thing is the ridiculous and idiot comedy.
-Both main character is surrounded by weird friends, or we called weirdo.
While not really all that similar, both show's have that school club game feel where there's not really a plot that drives the show forward but the insanity that happens around them. Also D-frag is more straight man punch line comedy while Baka To Test is more random sketchy comedy.
This one is just hilarious to me. But mostly because of the openings and endings of these anime. Even though they also sound cheesy.
