It is a story of love and hidden desires all set in school life. It has a similar setting as Kanon where a male protagonist surrounded by a group of girls and each girl has her own story to tell.
Both animes are about romance and childhood tragedy. Both animes are set in high school. Also, both animes have the same mysterious feeling to them.

-Both animes's setting/story goes by an omnibus format, and have small arcs for each heroine that doesn't diverge from the central plot of the story (with the setting intact)
